This course has four sections, each with a lesson. The first section includes a short quiz, and the other three include steps for you to complete. Just follow the sequence as laid out, and everything should go well.

This is where the real fun begins. Let’s get to work!

You will need your painting gear and a painting surface appropriate to your medium for your homework.

Your painting surface should be no larger than 12” x 16”. Otherwise, there will be too much space to manage to keep your attention on working on the lesson’s concept. Beyond this, use the paints and brushes you are most comfortable working with. Dianne intends not to change your choice to hers but to focus on learning one of the best ways to use your attention to keying your paintings.

Oil and acrylic painters, because this is an exercise, no stretched canvas, please!

Have fun with it.
